This policy explains what information tetra6.com collects, why, and how it is handled. Tetra6 is an independent consulting and technical practice operated by Robert Campbell.
The short version: this site has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The only information collected is what you deliberately type into the contact form and submit.
Information collected
Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, the following is collected and stored:
- The name you provide
- The email address you provide
- The message you write
- The date and time of submission
That is the complete list. Submitting the form is entirely voluntary — you can browse the whole site without providing anything.
Server logs. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like nearly all web hosting, GitHub's servers record standard request information — including IP addresses — for security and operational purposes. Tetra6 does not control, configure, or have access to these logs. GitHub's handling of that data is governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.
What is not collected
- No cookies are set by this site
- No analytics — no Google Analytics or any equivalent
- No advertising or tracking pixels
- No third-party scripts, fonts, or embeds — the site loads no external resources, so no third party observes your visit
- No account creation, profiling, or behavioural tracking
How contact information is used
Contact form submissions are used for one purpose: to read and respond to your message. They are not used for marketing, are not added to any mailing list, and are never sold, rented, or traded.
Where it is stored
Contact form submissions are recorded in a private Google Sheet and sent as an email notification, both within Google accounts controlled by Tetra6. Google processes this data as a service provider; their handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Access is limited to Robert Campbell.
Retention
Submissions are retained as long as they remain useful for correspondence and recordkeeping. You may request deletion at any time (see Your choices below), and it will be honoured promptly.
Sharing
Your information is not shared with third parties, except:
- The service providers described above (GitHub for hosting, Google for form processing and email), acting on Tetra6's behalf
- Where required by law, valid legal process, or to protect legal rights or safety
Your choices
You can browse this site without submitting anything. If you have submitted the contact form, you may email robert@tetra6.com to request a copy of what was submitted, ask for corrections, or ask for it to be deleted. Please send the request from the same email address you used, so it can be matched to your submission.
External links
This site links to external sites, including GitHub repositories, LinkedIn, and project websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
Children
This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please get in touch and it will be deleted.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and contact submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled accounts. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information — credentials, financial details, or confidential material — through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site or practice changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
