Independent consulting & technical contracting.
Tetra6 is an independent consulting and technical practice, built on 20+ years of hands-on experience across IT, systems and network engineering, cybersecurity, and software development.
The work spans a deliberately broad range — infrastructure and security engineering, web and mobile development, data and analytics — applied wherever it's actually needed, from government and mission-driven organizations to independent and community projects. Some of that work is public; see Projects below for real, shipped examples rather than a services list.
Tetra6 currently operates as an independent practice. Formal incorporation (LLC) is planned but not yet complete.
Six areas the practice works across — grounded in delivered work rather than a services menu.
Manufacturing execution systems, OEE and production-data visibility, industrial connectivity, embedded and PLC-adjacent hardware.
Linux and network engineering, zero-trust segmentation, ICS/OT security, incident response, system hardening and monitoring.
PIV smartcard credentialing and PKI, identity and access management across cloud providers, OIDC federation, Active Directory and LDAP.
Open-source collection and analysis, protective and threat-assessment work, insider-threat and counter-elicitation methods.
Web platforms, progressive web apps, mobile, embedded firmware, and multilingual systems with heavy localization requirements.
Project management, multi-stakeholder coordination, technical training and documentation, cross-cultural and international delivery.
Tetra6 works across the major cloud platforms — Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and DigitalOcean, with working Azure familiarity — covering hosting and compute, object storage, identity and access management, DNS, and automated build-and-publish pipelines.
Recent work includes an S3-backed content pipeline publishing through GitHub Actions with OIDC rather than long-lived credentials, Google Workspace and Apps Script automation, multilingual text-to-speech for narrated audio content, and migrating a self-managed server estate onto static hosting. Current AI and generative tooling gets used where it earns its place.
Robert Campbell
Founder
Twenty years across IT operations, manufacturing technology, and critical infrastructure security. Current work centres on manufacturing execution systems and industrial data environments — Linux, PostgreSQL, Python, APIs, and embedded and PLC-adjacent hardware.
Twelve of those years were spent in Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, delivering technology in resource-constrained, high-consequence environments: coordinating with government ministries and local partners, leading media and education infrastructure for a 400-student school, developing AI-driven agricultural diagnostics for crop disease and pest identification, and shipping the first native Lao-language Android application. Language and localization tooling built in that period remains in use today. He speaks Lao, Thai and Khmer from that work.
He holds CompTIA Security+ and credentials spanning ICS/OT cybersecurity, open-source intelligence, and threat analysis, and is an active member of FBI InfraGard, DHS HSIN, and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
